Well Mackinzy is almost one years old. She is progressing well. She has finally got off formula (thank goodness). She tried whole milk and has been drinking it for about a week and loves it ( for all those who don't know when she was born she was allergic). Anyways, Jon and I are so happy. So the next step was to get her off the bottle and on to the sippy cup. However this has not been so great. At first she would refuse it and turn the other way. She has know started to think about it, until today she decided to actually drink it!! YAY!!!! Hopefully she will continue on this journey.
Jon has been trying to get me to take Mackinzy to casting calls or modeling places. I think he was just trying to get me out of the house. However , i have been refusing. So we were at home one Sunday and had the local radio station on, and they announced a free casting call about 15 mins form our house for children only. So we had nothing else to do that day and i took her to it. We got there and it was hot and a long line of kids. I was thinking to myself this is not for us. However i waited about 45 mins , and decided to go ahead and give it a try because i was already there. We saw the judges and we had about a one minute interview. The lady was very sweet and Mackinzy was making eyes at her and smiling the whole time. The lady decided she like Mackinzy and Mackinzy got a call back . I was very surprised. In these interviews it was either they said no we are not interested or yes we want to have you and you get a the call back. Needless to say we are proud of Mackinzy . We will see how it goes until i get frustrated with it. lol
On a different note Mackinzy is not walking yet, she can hold on to furniture and get around but and has taken a few steps on her own but that's about all. She still has 8 teeth and is learning how to bite . I am trying to stop this of course. She is eating everything she can get her hands on. Her favs. are sweet peas, green beans, cheerios, mushrooms , taco meat , spaghetti and cookies. As for talking she is trying to mock Jon when he plays with her but she still has not said any full words , she can say dadadada and the sound mmmm but that's about all . Her favorite thing to do besides watching cartoons is playing in the cabinets. She loves cabinets and anything with a door.

Wow... How time flies! I'm sure Jon hasn't been the only person to suggest modeling for little Mackinzy! She is just adorable! And Ranger is precious, too! I bet you have your hands full now! (Keep in touch with Kelli about Mary's shower!)
